How to Pick Up a Fangirl: Be David Tennant… kissing.

I feel like, for how much I resemble him, especially in my 10th costume, this should happen way more often.

As of lately, “way more often,” could be any number greater than ZERO

Outside the door of the hotel room next to mine is this discarded box that has written on it, “FULL CAKE.” There is some frosting visible at the bottom.  Did I consider opening that box to see if there was any cake in there that looked safe enough to eat?  Yes.  Of course I did.
BECAUSE I AM A HUMAN BEING WITH A BEATING HEART.
Also, the shutter sound was on on my phone’s camera and I was terrified that I would get caught taking a picture of this discarded cake box and either get beaten up or invited into something weird.

I think the real question is if there actually was any cake in there that looked safe enough to enough to eat.
Just use the wedding cake logic.
When you eat wedding cake you entering a contract with yourself, in you accept that someone had to touch it to cut it, someone touched it to pass it out, and you don’t know what happened to the cake before it got to the wedding.
In this case, someone touched it to cut it(hopefully), someone touched it to put it in the hallway, and you don’t know what happened to it before it got to the hallway.
I would have done the same thing!

Infographic: Celebrating Towel Day - May 25, 2012
Lemon.ly has a hoopy little infographic about Towel Day which falls on this Friday, May 25th.

If you don’t know much about Douglas Adams, the most important thing to know is that he wrote humorous and fun science fiction books. This May marks the 11-year anniversary of Adams’ death. Two weeks after his death, his fans decided to commemorate him by making May 25th, Towel Day, and it turns out Lemon.ly’s designer, Ana, is one of those fans.

Great work, Ana, and one should always know where their towel is.

35 Years Ago Today…
Star Wars (A New Hope) was released in theaters for the first time.
It went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time (up to that point). Adjusted for inflation, it comes in at number 3 in the list of highest-grossing films ever made right behind Avatar (2009) and Gone With The Wind (1939). If you were to include toy/merchandise sales into the mix, it would take the top spot by a very wide margin. It isn’t all just about making money. It currently averages an 8.8/10 on IMDB which places it at #17 all time as voted by users.

I almost did last April, when there was a groupon making it rather affordable.
It would be so colorful!
